Israel strikes hospital with children twice in past 24 hours in Gaza

Gaza, Dec 19 (UNI)- Israeli forces have targeted a hospital with children twice in the past 24 hours in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) spokesperson James Elder said on Tuesday.

The Gaza Strip remains the most dangerous place in the world for children, and the situation is getting worse every day, Elder told reporters, adding that over the past 24 hours, the Israeli army has attacked the largest hospital in the southern Gaza Strip twice.

There are single children and women with children in this hospital, he added.
