Kanpur Shootout : Right Hand of Vikas Dubey Killed in an Encounter With UP STF
Amar Dubey’s number comes after the accused Vikas Dubey in this list of absconding criminals declared by the police. Amar Dubey was hiding in Aratra village, he was killed by UP STF and police on the road near the tomb of Daleel Shaheed Baba. The police raided the hotel in Faridabad last night. There was news that Vikas is hiding there. According to sources Vikas could not be found, but his right hand was caught by the police. Amar ran away from there but the STF shot him dead in Maudha in Hamirpur.
Meanwhile, the UP police are vigorously searching for Vikas Dubey. In this episode, on Tuesday, police reached a hotel near Barkhal Chowk in Faridabad. Police searched the entire hotel by taking hotel workers inside. Police did not find Vikas Dubey here but two people have been taken into custody. The two people who have been taken into custody by the police, it is being said that both of them are the companions of Vikas Dubey. Both are being questioned. Police have captured the DVR of the register and CCTV for investigation. The police conducted the raid on the basis of inputs, which included information that UP’s notorious criminal Vikas is in a hotel with his companions.

The police has now announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on the history sheeter Vikas Dubey, accused of killing eight policemen. Apart from this, posters have also been asked to be put on toll points of the entire state. Four policemen have been suspended in the case so far. Three more police personnel were suspended on Monday. The Chaubepur police station was also suspended on Saturday.
It is worth mentioning that late Thursday night, the police team had reached to arrest criminal Vikas Dubey, resident of Bikeru village of Chaubepur police station area of Kanpur, where the police team was attacked, killing eight policemen including a magistrate, a police station officer. Five policemen, a home-guard and a civilian are injured in the encounter.
