Nagpur: Nagpur District and Sessions court granted bail to the woman accused of killing her lover by rope during sexual intercourse.

Earlier, the 30-year-old man died due to strangulation while having sexual intercourse after the woman allegedly tied him with a rope. The incident came to light on January 7 at a hotel at Khaparkheda in Nagpur district when the couple was trying to do an experiment to ‘enhance sexual pleasure’.

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has alleged that the incident was not an accident but a well-planned murder by the woman. The family claimed that Ziauddin Ansari, a fire engineer by profession, was married to someone else and had become a father recently which “might have upset his girlfriend”.

Throwing light on the incident, the Nagpur Police said that the woman allegedly tied Ansari’s hand legs to a chair with a nylon rope, adding that “she used another rope around his neck to heighten sexual arousal”.

However, the young man’s father complained that his girlfriend strangled and killed his son. Khaparkheda police arrested the girl on a charge of murder. She applied for bail through Adv. Apoorva Dhawankar and Adv. S. T. Chavan. After hearing the case, Judge S. S. Deshpande released her on bail.
