Pune crime | Case registered against man for raping teenager in Hadapsar
Pune : Policenama online Pune crime | The Hadapsar police have registered a case against a man for raping a girl repeatedly after threatening her that he will show the selfie he had taken with her to her parents.
The accused has been identified as Janardhan Keshav Govinde, a resident of Magarpatta. The girl’s mother has filed a complaint. The incident took place from June 2021 to December 6, 2021.
According to the complainant, the victim and the accused stay in the same area. The accused had taken a selfie with the girl. He threatened her that he will spoil her reputation by showing the selfie to her parents. He forcefully established sexual relations with the girl at various places.
The girl’s mother filed a complaint after she came to know about the incident. Assistant Police Inspector Shinde is carrying out further investigation.
