Case registered against Raghunath Kuchik for raping girl

Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | A case of rape has been filed against Raghunath Babanrao Kuchik, a resident of Yerawada, for establishing physical relations with a girl and making her pregnant and threatening to kill her after carrying out her abortion. (Pune Crime)

A 24-year-old girl has lodged a complaint at the Shivaji Nagar police station. The incident took place at Prabodhan Foundation in Model Colony, Pride Hotel, Beleza By The Beach hotel in Goa from November 6, 2020 to February 10, 2022.

According to the complaint, the accused developed friendship with the girl by promising marriage. The accused established physical relations with the girl at various places. The girl got pregnant and he carried out her abortion against her will. He threatened to kill her if she revealed anything to anyone. He made her sign some documents when she was unwell.

A case has been registered against the accused under IPC 376, 313 and 506 by the Shivajinagar police and PSI Patil is investigating the case.
