Pune Crime | Prostitution racket busted at massage centre, SSC of crime branch raids Viman Nagar centre, manager arrested
Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | The Social Security Cell of Pune police crime branch raided a massage parlour in Vimantal where prostitution was happening surreptitiously. The manager of the massage centre has been arrested and three girls have been apprehended.
The manager of the massage centre Imdadullah Ismail Ali (19), a resident of Aram has been arrested. An FIR has been filed against the owner of the massage centre, Shantanu Sarkar, Shamsuddin and Jayaram Valpuli. Police Constable Neelam Shinde has lodged a complaint at the Vimantal police station.
PI Rajesh Puranik of the SSC came to know that a prostitution racket is being operated from Ameya Spa located in lane number three of Viman Nagar. The police sent a decoy customer to the centre to verify the information. Later, a raid was carried out and manager Imdadullah Ali was apprehended. Three girls were also apprehended and cash of Rs 9,000 was seized. A case has been filed against the accused at the Vimantal police station.
The action was taken by a team of police officials including Senior PI Rajesh Puranik, PSI Supriya Pandharkar, policemen Mohite, Ashwini Kekan, Hanumant Kamble and Anna Mane under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale and DCP Srinivas Ghadge.
