Pune: Maha Yuti-BJP Lok Sabha candidate Murlidhar Mohol has said that Keshavrao Jedhe Chowk at Swargate will be transformed and the entire area will have a new look due to the multimodal hub coming up there. Passengers will get ultra-modern Metro-PMPML-ST public transport services. This will boost business and commerce.
A poll rally was taken out through the Parvati Assembly Constituency via Tulshibaug Colony, Taljai Vasahat, Chavan Nagar, Padmavati, and Shivdarshan to campaign for Mohol on Thursday. MLA Madhuri Misal, Deepak Misal, Shrinath Bhimale, Karan Misal, Raju Shilimkar, Subhash Jagtap, Shrikant Pujari, Anil Jadhav, Ganesh Ghosh, Vishal Pawar, Shruti Nazirkar and Vikas Kamble participated in the rally.
Mohol said, “The hub will connect the underground Metro with the Swargate ST bus stand. The PMPML bus terminal will be a part of the multimodal hub. One can get good connectivity at one place to travel to any part of the city. Commercial spaces will be developed in the hub. Space will be provided for a mall, a multiplex and other businesses. Passengers will have multiple facilities at one place.”
