Pune: Job Seeker Girl Duped: Complaint Registered Against Two Accused for Fraud at Hinjewadi Police Station

Pune: A young woman who was looking for a job was swindled by taking cash and online money from her and promising to give her job. In this regard, a complaint has been registered against two accused at Hinjewadi police station. This incident took place between January 2024 and May 2024 at the offices of Siddhivinayak Consultancy Services on Bhumkar Chowk Road in Wakad and Baxes Private Limited Company in Hinjewadi.

According to the police, the plaintiff, Pooja Patil, was looking for a job. After knowing her need, the accused, Vikrant Raju Bhosle, a resident of Alandi, and Paresh Devidas Patil, a resident of Chinchwad, collaboratively lured Pooja to get her a job at Baxes Private Limited Company in Hinjewadi with an annual package of four lakh rupees.

For this, the accused took two lakhs of rupees from the plaintiff in cash and online forms. After this, the accused made a fake appointment letter and sent it to the plaintiff’s email address. However, after realising that it was fake, the plaintiff demanded her money back. The accused cheated the plaintiff of two lakhs without returning the money.

The plaintiff then registered a complaint against two accused at Hinjewadi Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against two accused under IPC 409, 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, and 34. Further investigation into the case is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Giri.
