Pune News : This year, October to be hotter than usual
PUNE: Policenama online – Pune News | The IMD has predicted that the maximum temperature in October is expected to be above normal like August and September. In Vidarbha, the maximum temperature has increased by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. (Pune News)
According to information given by IMD, during the period from October 1 to 11, in Vidarbha, Odisha, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, north MP and western UP, the temperature has gone above 35 degrees Celsius.
In areas where the average temperature is 33 to 34 degrees centigrade, it has gone above 35. In Vidarbha, the maximum temperature is 2 to 3 degrees more than the average. In Marathwada, the maximum temperature has increased by 1 to 2 degrees centigrade.
It has been predicted that the increase in the temperature would continue for 10 days. Hence, October is going to be hotter than average like August and September.
On Thursday, a maximum temperature of 37.5 degrees centigrade was recorded in Akola. In Amravati, Brahmapuri (Chandrapur) and Washim, the temperature is above 36. In Vidarbha and Marathwada, the temperature is above 35. In Madhya Maharashtra, the temperature is above 33. Santacruz has recorded a temperature of 34.7 degrees centigrade.
