Rs 2100 crore collected in Ayodhya Ram Temple coffers on last day of crowdfunding

New Delhi : The nationwide ‘Ram Mandir Nidhi Samarpan’ campaign started on Makar Sankranti for the construction of a temple to be built on the birthplace of Lord Rama in Ayodhya was concluded on Saturday. For the construction of Ram Mandir, donations of Rs 2100 crore have been collected through the campaign in 44 days. Advocate Alok Kumar, the central executive of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the national convenor of the campaign, thanked those who supported in this campaign.

He said that this campaign was successful through 40 lakh dedicated workers engaged in about 10 lakh groups. Under this, we not only received the dedication fund from house to house in the province, district, tehsil and villages, at the same time, the feeling of reverence, trust and dedication towards Ram also made him proud.

Advocate Alok Kumar, the national convenor of the campaign said that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad expresses its gratitude for this generosity, harmony and complete dedication of Hindu society. He said that crores of Hindu families of millions of villages and cities co-participated in it with devotion. In this campaign, the workers had to go through many emotional moments and many people were seen surrendering to their potential.

He said that for Lord Rama many devotees offered donation money. At many places, Nidhi Samarpan groups were welcomed and served as Ram Doot.
