HP hospitality unit announces festival spl package for couples on Karva Chauth

Shimla, Oct 28 (UNI) State Hospitality unit of Himachal Pradesh government popularly known as Himachal Tourism announced a special festival holiday packages for couples. (State Hospitality unit of Himachal Pradesh )

The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) announced on Saturday that as the week ends, it is going to launch a special package for the Karva Chauth festival.

The state hospitality unit, yet to augur from the trail of rainfurry, is trying to woo tourists to kick off its winter season by announcing an attractive bonanza for the newly married couples to its number of luxurious properties in tourist resorts Shimla, Dalhousie, Manali, Chail, Kasauli, and Dharmshala.

A spokesperson for HPTDC said it launched a special package on the occasion of Karva Chauth festival on November 1, 2023.

On this occasion, guests staying in any hotel of HPTDC will be allowed a 10 percent additional discount on the room tariff for couples from October 31 to November 1, 2023.

The arrangement for Sargi would be made by HPTDC by serving Feni, Banana, Milk, Gulab Jamun, and Mathi free of charge. Apart from this, Arg, Pooja Thali, and Karwa (with rice, urad dal, Dhruva, flowers, Kungu, etc.) would also be provided by HPTDC without any charge.

A special ‘Vrat Thali’ would be served to the guests on Karwa Chauth. Apart from this, other accessories required for Karwa Chauth Pooja, like dry fruit, puna, and suhagi (bindi, churi, kajal, ribbon mehandi, etc.) will be arranged by HPTDC on a payment basis.

Amit Kashyap, Managing Director, H.P. Tourism Development Corporation, informed here today that Karwa Chauth is the most celebrated festival in the country.

He said Karwa Chauth signifies the pious bond that is shared between husband and wife, and married couples can make this day memorable by celebrating this festival at HPTDC properties and also availing of highly discounted packages.
