Pune :  Policenama online – Noted industrialist and head of Tata Group Ratan Tata celebrated his birthday in a simple way on December 28. A video clip of this is going viral on social media. Ratan Tata is seen blowing a candle on a cup cake.

 

A youth accompanying Tata has attracted netizens’ attention. He wishes Tata on his birthday. Then he affectionately puts his hand over Tata’s shoulder and offers him a piece of cake.

 

Many netizens do not know who this young man is. Many dream to meet Ratan Tata and shake hands with him. However, this young man is not only meeting him and celebrating his birthday but is also working with Ratan Tata. Shantanu Naidu, a Puneite, is a friend of Tata.

 

Shantanu is currently working with Ratan Tata at Tata Trusts. Shantanu, during his college days, had attracted Tata’s attention. He worked to save stray dogs. Shantanu wanted to stop dog deaths at night. They get hit by vehicles and lose their lives. To curb such deaths, he had developed fluorescent neck belts for strays. Thus, they could be spotted by commuters on non-illuminated roads at night. Their lives could be saved. Ratan Tata is a dog lover. Thus, Shantanu and Tata became friends.

 

Ratan Tata has invested money in an enterprise called ‘Motopaws’ floated by Shantanu.
