A man cuts tongue of group admin after being removed from WhatsApp group

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime | In a shocking incident, a person beat up a group admin badly and tried to cut off his tongue as the culprit was irked over his removal from a WhatsApp group. The incident happened in Fursungi. (Pune Crime)

 

Priti Kiran Harpale (age-38) has lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar Police Station. The incident took place at ‘Om Sai Society’ near Fursungi around 10 pm on December 28. The police have registered an FIR against Suresh Kisan Pokle, Suyog Bharat Shinde, Anil Mhaske, Shivram Patil and Kisan Pawar. (Pune Crime)

 

Complainant Priti Harpale is the president of this society. The members living in the society had created a WhatsApp group in the name of the society. The admin of that group was the complainant’s husband, Kiran Harpale. One of the members of this group, Suresh Pokle was repeatedly posting obscene messages, that’s why the group admin Harpale removed Pokle from that group.

 

Accused Suresh Pokle sent a message reading, ‘Why was I removed from the group?’ But Harpale did not reply to this. So the accused called Harpale and asked him to meet. He was called to Harpale’s office. There, Pokle asked ‘why was I removed from the group?’ Harpale said that anyone is posting any kind of messages in the group. Hence, he deleted the group. Enraged by this, Pokle brutally beat up Kiran Harpale with the help of his friend. In this incident, Harpale’s tongue was cut off.
