Imtiaz Afzal Hussain Sheikh (37) from Hadapsar has filed a complaint at the Wanawadi Police Station. Based on that, the police have registered a case against Atiq Iqbal Sheikh (37) from Hadapsar, Sadiq Sheikh (25), Hussain Mustafa Qadri for attempting to murder and under the Arms Act. The incident took place at the Shiv Minority Sena district chief’s contact office in Mohammadwadi at 6.30 pm on Thursday.
According to the details provided by the police, the accused and the complainant are acquaintances. On December 27, there was an altercation between the complainant’s brother Imran and Shabbir Qadri, the brother of Sadiq Shaikh. Nourshighing a grouse, Atiq and others came to the office in galli no. 22, Syed Nagar on a two-wheeler. When there was no one in the office, he kicked on the door and came to the main road. He said, “We are the bhais of this area, if someone goes against us, he will be killed.” Then he fired from a pistol. Atiq created terror. The police immediately registered a case and police inspector Sandeep Shivale is investigating.
