An-32 Crash: Six Bodies and Seven other found in AP

Policenama online : Six bodies and seven remains of others have been recovered from the site where an Indian Air Force An-32 aircraft crashed earlier this month.

Mi-17 helicopter, found the wreckage of the missing aircraft on June 11. Thirteen IAF personnel were on the aircraft and the pane with soviet-designed twin engine turboprop had vanished from the radar around 11 pm while flying from Assam’s Jorhat to Mechuka, a military landing strip on Arunachal.

The bodies will be taking to the Air Force base in Jorhat. Debris of the plane was found at the height of around 12,000 feet. An-32 crashed due to the bad weather and poor visibility.

Importantly, all cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and the flight data recorder or black boxes were recovered last week.
