BJP-Congress-CPI(M) nexus trying to destabilise Bengal : Abhishek
Kolkata/Murshidabad, May 6 (UNI) – Abhishek Banerjee | Taking a swipe at the Opposition in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Saturday iterated that the “BJP-Congress-CPI(M) nexus is trying to destabilise” Bengal.
Addressing a public meeting at Raninagar in Murshidabad district, Banerjee, who has embarked upon a two-month-long Jono Sanjog Yatra (mass contact outreach) ahead of the West Bengal Panchayat polls, said, ” The @BJP4India- cpimspeak-@INCIndia nexus is trying to destabilize Bengal. ”
Coming down heavily on the saffron brigade, Banerjee said, “@BJP4India defamed us & spread vile rumours. But, TMC has only grown stronger: 211 seats in 2016 shot upto 214 seats in 2021. ”
Expressing gratitude to the people of the district, Banerjee said, ” People of Murshidabad gave a befitting reply to their false notions & elected Smt @MamataOfficial as the CM. We’re truly grateful! ”
Stating that neither do the Congress or CPI(M) leaders attack the BJP nor the saffron brigade leaders ever talk against the Congress or the CPI(M) in West Bengal, Banerjee said, ” Their sole target is Trinamool Congress, Mamata Banerjee and me. ”
“CPI(M) and INC haven’t organised a single movement in the heart of Delhi or met the PM for Bengal’s issues. It is the TMC that has fought for the people, ” he quipped.
