Delhi: India’s largest kidney dialysis hospital

The country’s largest kidney dialysis facility in Delhi has started. The Delhi Sikh Management Committee (DSGMC) on Sunday duly inaugurated the Bala Sahib Hospital at Kale Khan.

DSGMC has decided to provide the facility free of cost to all patients. According to the reports, dialysis of 500 patients will be done daily. DSGMC President Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, all the facilities in the hospital are technologically advanced, which will be provided free of cost to all.

The construction of the Bala Sahib Hospital was started by the DSGMC in the year 2000, but due to controversies, the hospital could not be built till now.

The hospital was inaugurated by Baba Bachchan Singh. Jathedar Giani Ranjit Singh of Patna Sahib, DSGMC President Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Takht Patna Sahib Manager’s Committee President Jathedar Avtar Singh Hitta, DSGMC General Secretary Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait and many others also attended the inauguration.

 At Bala Sahib Hospital, dialysis of 101 patients can be done at a time. At the same time, 500 patients will be able to dialysis in the hospital every day. According to information received from DSGMC, the hospital has been started with 101 beds. Soon the capacity will be 1000 beds. The number of people availing dialysis facilities daily will also increase.

DSGMC President Manjinder Singh Sirsa and General Secretary Kalka said that patients of any background of every section of the society will be able to benefit from the dialysis facility. This facility will be free for all. DSGMC will run this hospital with the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of large corporate houses. He said that renowned doctors of the country, who are already in the field of dialysis, will take care of this kidney dialysis hospital.
