policenama online : Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia’s is celebrating her 62nd birthday and here it is some of her recent pictures from her younger days are quite interesting.
Dimple born on June 8, 1957, is the eldest daughter of a Gujarathi entrepreneur named Chunnbhai Kapadia, Dimple married to Rajesh Khanna in 1973, six month before the release of her first film, Bobby.
But they separated in 1984, though they did not complete the divorce proceedings. Later they united during Khanna’s last days.
Dimple was discovered by Raj Kapoor, at age of 13, and later launched her in Bobby. She retires from acting after marrying Rajesh Khanna and raised her daughter, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna.
Dimple seen as one of the accomplished and strong actress. After the absence from film for 12 years she appeared in Saagar in August 1985.
Ramesh Sippy’s Saagar was touted to be Dimple’s comeback vehicle, but the release of the film got delayed.
