Heads roll after ink attack on Chandrakant Patil: PI Satish Nandurkar, PSI Sisode, PSI Mane, along with seven other cops suspended immediately, include 2 women cops

Pune : Policenama online –  Pune-Pimpri Chinchwad Police Officer Suspended | Ink was thrown at Pune Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil in Pimpri Chinchwad on Saturday. The political atmosphere in the state has heated up after the incident. Meanwhile, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Ankush Shinde has immediately suspended a police inspector, two police sub-inspectors and seven police constables. The police immediately arrested the persons involved in the incident. A case has also been registered against them.

The names of the suspended police officers and constables are as follows –

3. Ganesh Dattu Mane (Chinchwad Police Station)

4. ASI Bhausaheb Muralidhar Sarode (Chinchwad Police Station)

5. ASI Deepak Mahadev Kharat (Crime Branch)

6. Constable Pramod Suryakant Vetal (Crime Branch)

7. Policeman Deva Shivaji Raut (Crime Branch)

8. Policeman Sagar Dashrath Avasare (Crime Branch)

9. Woman police constable Kanchan Prashant Ghawale (Chinchwad Police Station)

10. Woman police constable Priyanka Bhaiyyalal Gujar (Headquarters)
