Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Pune Municipal Corporation on December 19, says Mayor Muralidhar Mohol
Pune : Policenama online – Mayor Muralidhar Mohol has announced that Home Minister Amit Shah is going to visit Pune on December 19.
He will pay a visit to the Pune Municipal Corporation and will perform the groundbreaking ceremony of a memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue and will inaugurate a statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
A memorial of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj sitting on his throne is being built as per Mohol’s vision and a statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar is being installed at the entrance of the new building of the civic body. Both these programmes are going to be held on Sunday at 3 pm.
Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis and BJP’s state president Chandrakant Patil will attend both the programmes, he said.
