Pune: In the Mundhwa area of Pune, an honest rickshaw driver returned a passenger’s bag at the police station, which contained a laptop worth Rs 70,000 and a few important documents. This gesture by the rickshaw driver is being applauded everywhere across the city.

As per the information, rickshaw driver Rajesh Chandrakant Sanghawar (56), a resident of Shimpi Ali, Mundhwa, was commuting his rickshaw across the streets of Mundhwa, during which he dropped one of his passengers. After that, he found one laptop bag on his rickshaw’s backside, which contained an expensive laptop and a few documents.

Without wasting a single moment, Rajesh Sanghawar submitted that bag at the Mundhwa Police Station without any greed for keeping it. When the police inspected the bag, they found the password for a laptop written on one of the chits in the bag. With the help of that password, police opened the laptop, recovered the email ID of the owner of the laptop, Suraj Hemrajani, and contacted him.

However, as Hemrajani was out of town for his work, he sent his friend, Shekhar Hirve, to take that laptop from the police station. Accordingly, the police established the identity of the person and handed him the laptop. After recovering the laptop, Shekhar Hirve, Suraj Hemrajani, and local citizens praised the action of the rickshaw driver, Rajesh Sanghawar, and the police force.
