Pune : The campaign in Shirur Lok Sabha constituency is in full swing as the elections are approaching. However, today, both candidates from Shirur Lok Sabha Constituency, Amol Kolhe and Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, came on the same stage. At that time, Kolhe touched the feet of Adhalrao, whereas Adhalrao also listened to the complete speech of Amol Kolhe.

While speaking to people, Kolhe said that elections come and go. Posts come and go, but relationships with people are important, and for that, we should keep our speech, our behaviour, and our purpose pure. He further appealed to people to keep the self-respect of Maharashtra in front of their eyes and then vote.

Shirur’s current MP and the candidate of the NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar party in Mahavikas Aghadi, Dr. Amol Kolhe, was on a campaign tour in Rajgurunagar taluka today. On this occasion, Amol Pawar, Ashok Khandebharad, Babaji Kale, Aba Dhanwate, Atul Deshmukh, Sudhir Mungse, Nilesh Kad, Mayur Daundkar, Rajmala Butte Patil, Somnath Mungse, Sudhir Bhomale, Sanjay Ghanwat, and other activists were present.

During the ongoing Harinam Saptah in Wada village, Dr. Kolhe and Adhalrao Patil came face-to-face. When Dr. Kolhe arrived for Harinam, Adhalrao Patil was speaking. As soon as his speech was over, Dr. Kolhe touched the feet of Adhalrao and interacted with him.

After that, during his speech, Amol Kolhe said that our scriptures and traditions taught us to respect human beings, and for that, we need to have our speech, our behaviour, and our purpose pure.

Kolhe said, “Keep the self-respect of Maharashtra in front of your eyes, and then go for voting. This election is important as it will decide in whose hands the country will remain for the next five years.”

“When Modiji came to power, the price of a gas cylinder was Rs 450. At that time, Modi asked women to bow down before the gas cylinder and then go for voting. Now the price has gone beyond 1000 rupees. So you must bow down before cylinders three times,” Kolhe added. He further said that when the country becomes safe, the religion becomes safe, and the road to God goes from the country. Therefore, he appealed to people to vote for the country’s future.

After the speech, Adhalrao went for his next scheduled tour, whereas Amol Kolhe served meals to the people.
