Maharashtra Govt. will redevelop Mumbadevi Temple: CM Eknath Shinde
Mumbai, (UNI) : Mumbadevi Temple | Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday said that the government will take a positive decision to redevelop Mumbadevi Temple after establishing the Mumbaidevi Development Authority on the lines of Shri Kanshi Viswanath temple. (Mumbadevi Temple)
Shinde was speaking after inspecting the area by visiting Mumbadevi at Kalbadevi.
At this time, Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar, Women and Child Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLA Sada Saravankar among others were present.
Shinde said that Mumbadevi is an ancient temple and everyone has faith, trust and love for it. Many devotees visit the Mumbadevi temple area. Mumbaikars are demanding that development should be done on the lines of Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Sri Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor in Ujjain, Tirupati Temple.
Keeping in mind the necessary facilities of the area, the government will make all efforts for the development of viewing queues, parking lots and necessary facilities at that place, added the Chief Minister.
