Maharashtra Temperature | Cold wave in north-west India, temperatures to drop drastically in Maharashtra in coming days

Mumbai : Policenama online – Maharashtra Temperature | Dry weather has been prevailing across the country for the past two weeks. A cold wave is prevailing in north-west India, which will intensify in the coming 4-5 days. The met office has issued an alert in the area.

Temperatures have dropped in Punjab, Maharashtra and most parts of Gujarat in the past some days. They will drop further by 3-4 degrees Celsius in the coming 4-5 days.

In Vidarbha, mercury dipped to 12 degrees Celsius, indicating cold wave conditions in the region. Temperatures will drop further in the coming days.

Rain accompanied by snowfall is likely to occur in the next two days at many places in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarbad and Himachal Pradesh. Sporadic showers may be witnessed in north Punjab, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh.

Temperature has dropped in Maharashtra as an accumulative effect of these weather conditions prevailing in the northern parts of the country.

 

Pune crime | Two criminals arrested, two pistols seized by Anti-Extortion Cell

Pune : Policenama online  – Pune crime |  The Anti-Extortion Cell of the Pune police has arrested two criminals and recovered two country made pistols and 10 live cartridges from them. They were arrested near the bridge in Dattawadi.

The accused have been identified as Vishal Dnyaneshwar Renuse (26), a resident of Shukrawar Peth and Akash Kumar Shete (22), a resident of Shukrawar Peth and recovered goods worth Rs 81,000 from them.

When the officials of AEC were patrolling, they received a tip off that two youths will be arriving near the bridge in Dattawadi with some pistols. A trap was laid and they were arrested and two pistols and 10 cartridges were recovered from them.
