Manjeet Singh Virdi Foundation: 500 children, suffering from various ailments, enjoy show of Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
PUNE : Policenama online – Manjeet Singh Virdi Foundation | Five hundred children, some of them mentally and visually challenged and some suffering from cancer, HIV enjoyed watching a show of Salman Khan’s movie thanks to an initiative of Manjeet Singh Virdi Foundation. A special show of Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was organised at Inox multiplex located on Bund Garden Road. (Manjeet Singh Virdi Foundation)
Siddharth Manohar and Ankur Katyal of Inox welcomed Manjeet Singh Virdi by presenting him with a memento. Virdi welcomed the children by giving them popcorn, wafers, sandwich, chocolates, water bottles and a rose.
Actor Salman Khan’s performance is liked by children. Hence, Manjeet Singh Virdi Foundation had organised a special show of his latest film for the children. The foundation organises a film show for special children for 24 years.
Children of Jai Ganesh Palkatva Yojana of Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Trust, Ayodhya Charitable Trust, St Margaret Savli, Santulan Nivasi Pashan, Zep Remedial Learning Centre, Advait Parivar, Emmanuel Public School, Rhythm Dance Academy, Anjuman Girls, Joy Kids took part in the initiative and enjoyed the film.
Zone 1 DCP Sandeep Singh Gill, Budhani Wafers owner Arvind Budhani, Bhola Singh Arora, zilla parishad member Ankitaa Patil, all members of Punjabi Cultural Association, social worker Mohsin Shaikh, BJP YUvati Aghadi General Secretary Samruddhi Mohol, Prakash Shelke and Yashwant Nadgam were present.
