Pimpri: Police arrested a 19-year-old for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old minor girl from August 2020 to February 10, 2021. The police said the incident came to light after the minor became pregnant.

The arrested accused was identified as Ashok Kamlesh (19), resident of Thane. A 17-year-old girl has lodged a complaint at Wakad police station. The accused forcibly sexually assaulted the girl against her will and impregnated her. The accused has been arrested after she lodged a complaint with the police. Sub-Inspector of Police Sangeeta Gode is investigating the case further.
