Newborn named “FANI” after coastal storm

Bhubneshwar : Policenama online – With the speed of up to 175kmph, cyclonic storm ‘Fani’ slammed Odisha coast. At the same time at Mancheswar hospital in Bhubneshwar, newborn baby was born at 11:03 a.m, as the strong wind and heavy rains battered along coastal state.

But within the system, the winds are reaching speeds of up to 175 kilometers per hour that may go up to 200 Kmph, leaving their wake uprooted trees and thatched structures, including in the state capital Bhubaneshwar.

Both the child and the mother are doing fine; girl’s mother is an employee at Coach Repair Workshop, Mancheswar.
