Permission Granted for Selling Liquor in Pune! Collector Issued Orders on Opening Hours of Wine & Beer Shops

Pune : The third phase of lockdown has started today. The state government has decided to relax restrictions to revive the state’s economy. Under this, it is now permitted to open liquor shops in the city. Earlier, a lot of rumors were spreading in Pune about the sale of liquor. However, now the administration has made a big announcement regarding the sale of liquor.

 

 

 

While the state government decided on the sale of liquor, confusion arose over the permission to sell. Because, Collector Naval Kishore Ram had not issued any order yet. Consequently, there was confusion as to whether to open liquor shops as the District Collector himself had not yet issued the order. However, liquor has finally been allowed to be sold in the city.

 

The District Collector has issued an order today regarding the sale of liquor in Pune. The sale of liquor has been allowed in Pune, except in the Containment Zone. Liquor shops, beer shops are going to open. The shops will be open till 5 pm. But it is conditionally permitted by following the rules of social distance. However, restaurant bars in the city will remain closed, the district collector has ordered.

Earlier, the Municipal Commissioner of Pune, Shekhar Gaikwad, told a press conference that now only 10% of the city of Pune will be barred from Corona. The lockdown ban on the remaining 90 percent has been lifted from today. 5 shops will be open in each street. But, Punekar would have to follow social distance.’
