PMC | Pune Municipal Corporation to pay examination fees of 10th, 12th students from PMC school
Pune : Policenama online | The Municipal Corporation will pay the examination fee from the Board of Education for the students appearing for the Class X and XII examinations in the schools of the Pune Municipal Corporation Education Department. (PMC)
The provisions were approved in the Standing Committee meeting on Tuesday.
According to the information given by the committee chairman Hemant Rasne,
4,392 students from 44 secondary schools (PMC) of the
education department will appear
for the 10th standard examination this year.
The examination fee will be Rs 415 per student
and Rs 525 per for the 200 students
in technical schools.
Also, 449 students from five junior colleges in the education department of PMC will appear for the 12th standard examination. The charges of their fees are Rs 430 for Commerce and Rs 490 for Science, which will be paid by the Pune Municipal Corporation.
Extra time granted for written test
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the detailed schedule of Class X-XII examinations. In this, the time has been extended for the students appearing for the written examination. In March-April 2022, papers of all subjects will be started at 10.30 am instead of 11 am. State Board will conduct a written examination for class XII from March 4 to March 30 and a written examination for class X will be held from March 15 to April 4, 2022.
Due to covid restrictions, online education for students was started. Some students have already started studying in the classroom. However, these students have not practised writing. Therefore, the State Board decided to extend the time for the written examination.
