Pune: As the city president of the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharad Chandra Pawar, of Bhor Taluka, and many important leaders of the NCP and Congress parties have joined the NCP led by Ajit Pawar, it is considered a severe blow to Mahavikas Aghadi and Sharad Pawar in the face of the upcoming elections.

In the Jijai bunglow in Pune, Bhor Taluka president of the NCP-SP party and ex-corporator, Yashwant Dal, a supporter of Anantrao Thopte and the director of the District Milk Union, Dilip Thopte’s nephew, and the executive director of the Anant Milk Union, Nitin Thopte, Congress’ Youth Leader Somnath Dhavale, and social activists Sandeep Shete joined the Nationalist Congress Party in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar, former Minister Vijay Shivtare, and NCP city present Pradeep Garatkar.

At that time, many activists and party workers, such as Taluka President of the NCP, Santosh Ghorpade, former Deputy President of Zilla Parishad, Ranjit Shivtare, a former member of Zilla Parishad, Chandrakant Bathe, Bholawade Village’s Sarpanch, Praveen Jagdale, Balaso Khutwad, and Gajanan Awale, were present.

It is said that this largescale exodus of party activists and office bearers of Mahavikas Aghadi into the opposition camp in the face of elections may hamper Mahavikas Aghadi’s chances of electoral success in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
