Pune: Call Centre Employee From Kothrud was Molested Demanding Physical Pleasure; Complaint Against Accused at Kothrud Police Station

Pune: A startling incident of molesting a 32-year-old woman working in the call centre of an IT company in Kothrud by demanding sexual pleasure has come to light in the Kothrud area. In this regard, a complaint has been filed against an IT engineer at Kothrud police station. This incident took place in the parking space of the company from March 13 to 28.

The victim woman is originally a resident of Satara. For work purposes, she has shifted to Pune. The woman works in the call centre of an IT company in the Kothrud area. According to the police complaint, on March 13, when the plaintiff came to the parking space of the company after finishing her duty, the accused, Rishikesh Sunil Dhiwar, attempted to molest her.

Dhiwar is an IT engineer by profession and lives in Ganesh Nagar, Dange Chowk, Thergaon. As per the complaint, the accused demanded physical pleasure from the plaintiff for him and his friend and attempted to outrage the plaintiff’s modesty. Furthermore, it is also reported in the complaint that the accused made some unwelcome advances at the defendant and acted in a way that could cause embarrassment to the woman.

After a complaint lodged by the woman in this regard, Kothrud police booked the accused under IPC 354. Further investigation is being conducted by the female police sub-inspector, Kale, in this regard.
