Pune: Celebration of wisdom, devotion and culture in presence of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Spiritual leader to interact with sarpanches, 10,000 farmers who benefited from the natural farming training; to meet over 200 industry leaders

Pune: Art of Living founder and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be on a four-day visit to Pune from February 5 to 8. He is slated to address a meeting of sarpanches, 10,000 farmers and people’s representatives. He will also meet over 200 leaders from the corporate world, besides holding a wisdom session.

Various programs have been organised during his visit at the Art of Living Triveni Ashram at Markal near Alandi.

A 1.50 lakh sq ft pavilion at the ashram is set up to host large gatherings, with an anticipated attendance of over 1.50 lakh devotees.

A host of cultural programmes have been lined up during the evening satsangs in his presence on each of the four days, showcasing Maharashtra’s rich cultural diversity. These will include Powada and Shivrajyabhishek ceremonies from western Maharashtra and Marathwada, Nashik Dhol, Tribal Koku dance, and a demonstration of Maharashtrian village activities.

Also, on display will be the rich Puneri culture such as the world-famous Ganeshotsav, Palkhi and, Gondhal by Haridas Shinde.
