Pune Crime | Health department question paper had leaked through Nyasa company, say Pune police; two links emerge in case; 28 accused arrested; goods worth Rs 6 crore seized

Pune : Policenama online  – Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta announced at a press conference that it has been revealed that the question paper of group c of the health department was leaked through the Nyasa company and two agents have been arrested by the Pune police. (Pune Crime)

 

The arrested accused have been identified as Nishid Ramhari Gaikwad (43), a resident of 501, Shevalkar Garden, South Ambazari Road, Nagpur and originally from Amravati and Rahul Dhanraj Linghot (35), a resident of Devi Park, Behind Javarkar Lawn, Amravati.

 

The cyber police had got the information that Nishid Gaikwad had leaked the paper before the exam and handed it over to students via an agent. The police carried out the probe based on this information and arrested the accused.

 

Two separate links in the health department’s question paper leak case have come to light. Joint Director of the department Mahesh Botle, Chief Administrative Officer of health department’s Latur division Prashant Badgire, Medical Officer of health department’s Ambejogai division Dr Sandeep Jogdand and Rajendra Sanap had already been arrested earlier.

 

 

Now, a flutter has been created after it became known that the paper had leaked from the place where it had been printed. Hence, two links of this case have come to light. So far, 18 people have been arrested in the case including officials of the health department, agents and some students. The accused had leaked 92 out of 100 questions before the exam.

 

When the Pune cyber police were probing the health department question paper leak case, they came to know that the question paper of MHADA exam was about to be leaked and three accused were arrested. They came to know that the question paper of the TET exam had also been leaked.

 

After a probe, the police arrested Commissioner of Maharashtra State Council of Examination Tukaram Supe and advisor to the education department Abhishek Savarikar. Raids were conducted on the residence and office of Supe and seized cash of Rs 3 crore 23 lakh 36 thousand 840 and gold ornaments and goods worth Rs 67 lakh 78 thousand 800. So far goods worth Rs six crore have been seized.

 

Twenty eight people have been arrested for leaking question papers of the health department, MHADA and TET. The cyber police are carrying out an investigation in the case.

 

 

This action was taken by a team of police officials including PI Jayant Rajurkar of unit 4, PI Minal Supe-Patil, PSI Anil Daffal, policemen Rajkumar Jaba, Pundalik, Ashwin Kumkar, Chalak Sonune, Shahrukh Shaikh and Shrikant Kabule under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Dr Ravindra Shisve, Additional CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Bhagyashree Navtake, ACP Vijaykumar Palsule and Police Inspector DS Hake.
