Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | A major accident took place on Kumthekar Road on Wednesday afternoon when the brakes of a PMPML bus failed. Fortunately, there has been no loss of life and two or three people have been injured. There was a traffic jam on the road due to the accident. A PMPML bus (MH 12 HB 5036) was going towards Hadapsar. Suddenly, the brakes of the bus failed on Kumthekar Road. The bus rammed into 7/8 vehicles. Many vehicles have been badly damaged. Two or three people have been injured. There was panic and confusion when the accident took place on the busy road.
The police rushed to the spot after they came to know about the incident. An autorickshaw got trapped between the wall and the bus. The autorickshaw has suffered extensive damage. The traffic on the busy road has been disrupted due to the accident.
