Policenama online | Notorious goon Pappu Wadekar has been murdered near Rajgurunagar in Pune district on Sunday late night.
According to police, murder is the fallout of revenge. Satish Gurav, a police inspector said that deceased goon Pappu was recently involved in act where he allegedly attacked a hotel owner and demanded extortion. The hotel owner Milind Jagdale and his aides might have taken revenge of the incident by killing the goons.
According to Police, the incident took place at late night on Sunday when Pappu was returning to Rajgurunagar.
Well informed about the movement of Pappu, the accused laid a trap on Pabal road. When he arrived at the spot then he was shot with a gun first and then his head was smashed with a stone. After receiving information about the murder, Police reached the spot.
Recently police had managed to put a break on gang wars by externing various criminals. However, the incident again highlighted that externed goons and criminals are killing their rivals with the help of others.
