Pimpri : Policenama online – Pune Crime | A 12-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped by two persons while she was returning home. The duo has been arrested by the Chinchwad police. The accused have been identified as Laxman Sanjay Kshirsagar (18), a resident of Chinchwad, and Rohit Ramesh Sutar (21), a resident of Walhekarwadi.
The victim’s mother lodged a complaint at the Chinchwad police station in this regard. The incident took place at accused Sutar’s house on April 21.
According to the police, Kshirsagar is a welder. Rohit is an auto-rickshaw driver. The complainant’s daughter was returning home after some work. Kshirsagar kidnapped her from the area and took her to Sutar’s house. He raped her there and threatened to kill her and her family members, if she revealed it to anyone. Later, Sutar also raped her. She did not reveal this to anyone out of fear.
The accused visited her near her house when she was picking mangoes from a tree. They again molested her, which others came to know. Then the victim narrated the ordeal to her mother, who approached the police. The duo has been arrested.
