Youth beaten up, his eyebrows cut with blade in Rasta Peth
Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | In a gruesome incident, two persons called a 17-year-old collegian boy to Mahatma Phule Chowk in Rasta Peth. They then abused and beat him up. They did not stop at that. The duo cut the eyebrows of the youth with a blade.
The victim’s father lodged a complaint at the Samarth police station in this regard. The police have booked the accused under various sections. They have been identified as Rizwan Khalil, a resident of Kasba Peth, and his accomplice Sahil Qureshi. Both of them are on the run. The police have launched a manhunt for them.
According to the police, the 17-year-old victim is a college student. He was heading for his class on the day of the incident. The accused called him and told him that they knew what he was doing in the tuition class. Then they called him to Mahatma Phule Chowk to solve the matter.
They threatened, abused and thrashed him at Mahatma Phule Chowk. Qureshi held his hands and Khalil cut his eyebrows with a blade. Then they escaped. The victim’s father approached the police after learning about the incident. He lodged a complaint against the duo.
The police are investigating the matter.
