Policenama online | The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) popularly known as Pune University has invited online applications for entrance examination for the PhD programme.
Candidates aspiring in pursuing their research in various university departments and recognized research centres can apply for the courses with Entrance Exam and Personal interview.
The 100 marks entrance examination will multiple choice type questions.
Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the Personal Interview. While Candidates exempted from Entrance Examination will go for the interview directly. The university will announcement dates for the interview later.
Exam pattern.
Entrance Test Paper consists of 2 Parts
a) Research Methodology: 50 Marks
b) Subject Specific: 50 Marks
Total: 100 Marks
Each MCQ will carry one Mark. There is no negative marking system.

a) Date of online PhD Entrance Examination : 22 August 2021
b) Commencement of filling online applications: 12 July 2021
c) Last date of filling online applications : 31 July 2021
d) Publication of result on the University website : 24 August, 2021
