Pune: Violent Confrontation Shakes Bhavani Peth! Two Individuals Attacked in Late-Night Brawl Near Chudaman Talim
Pune: In the Bhavani Peth Area of Pune, a disturbing incident of two people being brutally assaulted by bamboo sticks and bricks due to previous disputes took place yesterday. In this case, both people received heavy injuries and have been taking treatment at a private hospital in the area. This incident took place on Sunday, January 28, at around 10.15 p.m. near Chudaman Talim.
In this regard, 44-year-old Sajjad Abdul Shaikh, a resident of Nana Peth, M.D. Camp Chowk, Pune, lodged a complaint against two accused at Khadak Police Station. Accordingly, police booked two accused, Anas Feroze Khan and Zian Feroze Khan, both residents of MD Camp Chowk, Bhawani Peth, under IPC 324, 323, and 34, and launched an investigation against them.
Police informed that both the accused are inveterate criminals and have been earlier booked for various criminal activities. The accused, Anas Khan, and the plaintiff, Sajjad Sheikh, are known to each other, and they had an argument earlier. The plaintiff mentioned that, harbouring the anger of that dispute, the accused yesterday targeted Shaikh and his nephew, Zainul Khan.
The plaintiff complained that on Sunday evening, at around 10.15 p.m., when he and his nephew were talking to each other, suddenly the accused, Anas Khan, came there. He falsely told Zainul Khan that his mother was calling him and had been looking for him. Accordingly, the plaintiff and his nephew started walking towards home.
At that time, when both reached the Chudaman Talim of the Bhawani Peth area, the accused Anas launched a brutal attack on Shaikh, assaulting him with bamboo sticks and bricks. Additionally, one of the accused friends, Zian Khan, also joined the accused and attacked Shaikh. The accused also hit the nephew of the accused with his hand and injured him.
After that, the accused filed a complaint against both at Khadak Police Station. In this case, the police are leading a further investigation.
