Pune Crime News | Ambulance driver forced to withdraw complaint, beaten up
Pune : Pune Crime News | An ambulance driver was threatened to withdraw a police complaint and was badly beaten up.
Premnath Thokale (39), a resident of Camp, lodged a complaint at the Lashkar police station. Aditya Bhosle alias Manya, a resident of Bhavani Peth, and his accomplice have been booked.
The incident happened at 6.45 pm on Saturday near the main gate of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cantonment General Hospital.
According to the police, the complainant and the accused know each other. The complainant is a government ambulance driver and was squatting near the gate. The accused accosted the complainant and threatened to beat him up if he did not withdraw the police complaint against the accused. Then he started showering blows on the complainant and injured him.
