Pune: Violent Outburst in Crystal Market, Hinjewadi: Youth Beaten for Petty Car Removal Dispute

Pune: In the Hinjewadi area, a young man was severely beaten and injured over the trivial reason of asking someone to remove his car. This incident took place on Saturday, January 20, at around 8.30 p.m. at Crystal Market Maan Phase 3.

In this regard, the plaintiff, Deepak Rajkumar Pawar, 31, a resident of Megapolis Mystic, Hinjewadi Phase-3, filed a formal complaint against the Maruti Baleno (MH 14 GR 1177) car owner at Hinjewadi Police Station.

As per the complaint, the accused had gone to Crystal Market in his four-wheeler along with his family. At that time, he, for the time being, parked his car outside the tea shop and went under to drink tea. At that time, the accused owner of the Baleno car parked his car behind the plaintiff’s car.

When the plaintiff came outside after drinking the tea, he asked the accused to remove his car, as the plaintiff wanted to take his car and go home. However, enraged by the plaintiff’s suggestion, the accused abused the plaintiff and assaulted him severely. In this attack, the plaintiff’s nose bone was fractured.

Following the attack, the plaintiff registered a complaint against the accused. Acting swiftly, police lodged a complaint against the accused under IPC 325, 323, 504, and 506. Further investigation is being conducted by the Assistant Police Inspector.
