Six killed, 19 injured in road accidents in PAK

Islamabad, Dec 27 (UNI)- Six people were killed and 19 others injured on Tuesday in two separate road accidents in Pakistan, the rescue service reported.

At least three people died and 19 others were injured in a collision between two vehicles in Jamshoro district of the country’s southern Sindh province, said the rescue service.

According to the reports, the accident took place at night on Sehwan Road near Manjhand city in the district when a passenger van collided with an SUV, resulting in casualties.

Upon receiving the information, the local authorities reached the site and shifted the victims to local hospitals, said the rescue service, adding that the deceased included a little girl and two men.

Separately, three men riding on a motorcycle were killed after the bike collided with a car in Hafizabad district of the eastern Punjab province, the rescue service reported.

The accident occurred on Wazirabad Road in the district when the over speeding motorbike overtook a rickshaw and hit the car coming from the opposite direction, it added.
