Skipped last two hearing Pragya attend court
Bhopal : Policenama Online – Accused in 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case, accused Pragya Thakur appeared before a special court. Pragya Thakur one of the newly elected BJP MP from Bhopal has skipped her earlier appearance before the NIA court, NIA conducting trail in the 11-year-old case.
Malegaon blast case: Special NIA Judge asked Pragya Thakur 'Do you know or has your lawyer told you about how many witnesses have been examined by the prosecution till now?' To which she replied – 'I don't know.'

In one of the first half session in court Special NIA Judge under 313 (A) judge asked question to all accused. Her party worker has seen accompanying with her. Unwell pragya attend court room. And Special NIA judge will deliver his further order at 2:45 p.m.
The court is recording the testimony of witnesses in the case. Seven persons, including Thakur and Lt Col Prasad Purohit, are facing trial in the case.
Six people were killed and over 100 injured when an explosive device strapped to a motorcycle went off near a mosque in Malegaon, a power-loom town in north Maharashtra, on September 29, 2008.
According to police, the motorbike was registered in Thakur’s name and that led to her arrest in 2008.The Bombay High Court granted her bail in 2017.
