Stalin announces new schemes for Teachers welfare

Chennai, Mar 1 (UNI) – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin today announced new schemes for the welfare of government teachers at a cost of Rs 225 crore to mark his 70th birthday. (Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin)

 

They included Laptops (Tabs) for all secondary and graduate teachers.

 

In a video address, the Chief Minister said all teachers will undergo full physical examination once in 3 years.

 

He said those who implement government schemes well will be taken on educational tours abroad and educational expenses for children of teachers studying higher education will be increased up to Rs 50,000.
