Suspect caught near Singhu border, Youth says was part of plot to incite violence, kill farmer leaders

New Delhi : Farmers are protesting against the new agricultural laws of the central government for so many days and are adamant on taking out a tractor rally on 26 March. The farmers have turned down the government’s proposal to postpone the law. Now farmers have accused of conspiring to obstruct their protest and rally. Farmers have caught a suspect from the Singhu border.

The suspect, whom the farmers have caught from the Singhu border, has allegedly named a police officer of Rai police station in Sonipat. The suspect says that this officer has hatched a conspiracy to shoot four farmer leaders who sat on the stage on January 26. The officer has also shared the picture of those four leaders with the accused. The farmers also presented the suspect caught by them in front of the media.

The suspect has revealed that two teams have been set up to find out whether the protesting farmers are carrying weapons or not. He himself was present at the Singhu border since 19 January. He said that on January 26, his plan was to merge with the protesting farmers. If the protesters went out with the parade, we were told to fire at them.
