Due to increasing demand for masks worldwide, more than 5000 new factories have been opened in China in the last 2 months, which make masks.
Along with making a large amount of goods, China is also infamous all over the world for making goods of inferior quality and now the same is being seen in the cases of masks. According to some media reports, where these masks are made, there is neither a clean environment nor the employees themselves work by wearing masks or gloves. This has increased the fear that if a healthy person also wears these masks then the chances of falling ill will also increase.
Along with this, a video has also surfaced where an employee is picking up several masks from a pile of masks and cleaning his shoes. Imagine if these masks come to you through exports, would you like to wear these masks?
According to the news portal The Epoch Times, right now, the focus of China is on earning money, not on quality. Companies that previously used to make electrical goods, or were engaged in other work, are also now making masks for profit. Due to this, inferior masks are coming in the market because the quality standards are never followed in these factories. The Chinese government has also failed to regulate them.
A few videos are also surfacing on the internet in which employees are making these masks without gloves and masks in these filthy factories.
