Pune: The Akhil Bharatiya Maratha Mahasangh has extended its support to Maha Yuti-BJP Lok Sabha candidate Murlidhar Mohol.

Mahasangh National President Dilip Jagtap, Vice-President Santosh Nanavate, General Secretary Sambhajiraje Dahatonde, State Contact Head Anil Tagde, City Unit Chief Vaibhav Shilamkar, General Secretary Mayur Gujar, Women’s Wing Head Arti Marne, Jayashree Salunke, and Kavita Marne were present. Maha Yuti Coordinator Sandeep Khardekar accepted the letter of support.

Jagtap said, “The Maha Yuti implemented the reservations for the Maratha community. The BJP-Shiv Sena government established the Annasaheb Patil Financial Corporation in 1998 for the community. The functioning of the corporation was halted during 2000-2014 in the Congress-NCP rule. The then CM Devendra Fadnavis rejuvenated the corporation by providing funds in 2014. Over 86,000 Maratha youths have benefited from the corporation. The Maha Yuti government appointed 2,270 Maratha candidates selected in the government service. Community students have availed various educational schemes through the Sarathi organisation. We are confident that the reservations provided will sustain in the future. Therefore, we have supported Murlidhar Mohol in the Pune Lok Sabha constituency.”

Mohol expressed his gratitude towards the community. He promised that he firmly stands behind the Maratha community and will work diligently with the government for its progress.

Sandeep Khardekar said that the Maha Yuti would do justice to the Marath community, for which they must stand firmly behind it.
