Mumbai: A 41-year-old artist also a photographer Ram Kamat was found dead in his flat in Matunga on Wednesday. According to police, he found dead in the bathtub at around 3 pm.
The police have registered an accidental death report in the matter. They suspect it to be a case of suicide as a note was allegedly recovered from the incident site. According to police, no one is blamed for Kamath’s death in the suicide note. Sources said Kamath was an illustrator, photographer and a mythologist. He lived with his mother.
“In the suicide note, he is not blaming anyone. But we will record the statements of his family and friends to understand the reason behind the extreme step,” said a police officer.
