Air India Passenger Tests Corona Positive, All the Passengers in Flight Quarantined

New Delhi : A big news has come out for those who are using the air flight service started from Monday. A passenger traveling by Air India flight has been found Corona positive. Other passengers on this flight from Delhi to Ludhiana (AI9I837) have been quarantined. All have been asked to stay in the home quarantine for 14 days.

The infected man worked in the security department in Alliance Air and was traveling in the flight as a passenger. Air India reported, “The passenger found Corona positive works in the security department of Alliance Air. The passenger was flying on a paid ticket. Now all the passengers on this flight are in quarantine under state regulations.”

Earlier, IndiGo had said that it had on Monday removed the crew members operating the Chennai-Coimbatore flight. In this flight, a passenger was found infected with COVID-19, after which the company has taken this step.

This is probably the first air passenger to be found infected with coronavirus after the domestic airline started on Monday. IndiGo said in a statement that a passenger traveling on flight number 6E381 from Chennai to Coimbatore was found COVID-19 positive on the evening of 25 May. She is currently a Quarantine at ESI Hospital in Coimbatore.
