Ajit Pawar Organises Wrestlers’ Meet Today in Pune; Calls for Support to Mahayuti Candidates

Pune: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar organised a community gathering of wrestlers from Pune district in which they appealed to all the wrestlers to come ahead in large numbers and campaigned for the candidates of the Mahayuti alliance.

“I am not here to just boast about my accomplishments in Baramati. I am here to ask you for help in all four Lok Sabha constituencies of Pune districts,” said Ajit Pawar while adding to the wrestlers meet in Pune. Speaking further, Ajit Pawar added, “Our state has a great legacy of wrestlers. We experienced this during the Maharashtra Kesari competition. Wrestling is such an undivided part of our social life that any dispute or problem in the wrestling federation could make an impact at the national level.”

While asking for the active help of wrestlers for the Mahayuti alliance, Ajit Pawar said, “I have not called you for any selfish reason. I genuinely want the help of wrestlers in all four constituencies of the Pune district.” Pune district comprises four Lok Sabha constituencies, namely Shirur, Maval, Pune, and Baramati.

Ajit Pawar further said that we are not saints. We are political leaders. We run the government with your cooperation. We have nominated Muralidhar Mohol for the Pune Lok Sabha so that wrestlers can get some representation on his behalf. He also asserted his confidence, saying that looking at the trend and mood of the people, there seems to be no problem that Mohol will be elected with a large majority.

Ajit Pawar requested to the audience that everyone vote this year and cast their vote only for the candidate of Mahayuti. Ajit Pawar has also assured the players that no player will face any kind of problem, and he will assure that all the facilities will be provided to players in the coming time if he gets the power.
